Care
The Trachycarpus Fortunei is easy to maintain and can be kept outdoors or in a pot. This palm needs a sunny location and very well-drained soil. The palm grows best in the open ground. Due to its high winter hardiness and its strong foliage, it can therefore also remain outside in the winter. When this palm is placed in a pot, make sure you have a large deep pot. Water on average 3 times a week during dry, hot summers, depending on how moist the soil is. As with every palm, the oldest brown leaf should be cut as close as possible to the stem. Brown dots can be cut. This has no further effect on the palm.
