Camelia Japonica is better known in the Netherlands as Camelia or Japanese Rose. It is a beautiful evergreen plant with beautiful dark green glossy leaves with abundant flowers. The plant comes from China, Japan and Vietnam where it grows high in the mountains. The plant is very hardy, making it an ideal and very beautiful plant for the Northern-European climate. Camellia is wintergreen and the beautiful flowers bloom from February to May. It can be planted outdoors or kept as a tub plant. A beautiful plant that can be enjoyed for many years.
Care
A camellia prefers a slightly acidic soil, preferably humus-rich. In the summer it is important to keep the soil around the plant well moist. The plant prefers to be in partial shade. The plants grow into large shrubs, but can also be planted together, for example, to create 1 large shrub.
Plant height
The plants are supplied with a height of 30-40 cm measured incl the pot.
The Camellia are delivered in a pot with a width/diameter of 9cm.
